Lush Haul

While I was in Sydney over the weekend for two of my friends' beautiful wedding, I found some time to shop up a storm in Pitt st mall. I can never leave Sydney without spending up at Lush and these are the 4 items I picked up this time around. Curly Wurly shampoo was a repurchased product, but the other 3 are new to me! When I first started using Curly Wurly it took a bit of getting used to actually using the product but I loved how hydrated and soft it made my hair feel. I found the best way to use it was to try and capture a bit of water in my palm and lather it up as much as possible before then lathering it into my hair. You have to be very careful rinsing it out so you don't end up with questionable looking coconut chunks through your hair, but if you get it all out it's a great product.

I'm currently sitting with the Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze treatment in my hair, the Celestial moisturiser and Full of Grace face serum I've used twice now and so far so good.

As I haven't reeaaally tested the products out enough to give reviews I've inserted some descriptions of them from the lush website! Let me know if you've tried any of these and what you thought of them too!

Curly Wurly
Absolutely gorgeous, preservative-free coconut and vanilla shampoo to calm curls and tame tangles. Curly Wurly makes thick, unruly curls behave. It’s bursting with nutritious coconut and heaps of natural butters to help nurture dry hair and eliminate frizz.

Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze
Smoothing and softening the fluffiest locks. Ease your fluff with our supremely calming, jasmine-scented, pre-wash conditioner. Almond oil is smoothing and the blend of essential oils will de-tangle hair that's become troublesome and difficult. If you suffer from tangled and frizzy hair, this one's especially for you.
Celestial Moisturiser
Heavenly moisturiser to make sensitive skin happy. Although it's true that some perfumes can irritate sensitive skin, like stronger spice oils, others are really good for preventing redness and reactions. Natural vanilla absolute is one of them. We use it in Celestial for its soothing effect and intoxicating scent. The dove orchid is used in Chinese herbalism to prevent inflammation; it is the only orchid with a delicate and delightful scent. Almond milk is also wonderful for calming the skin. So, there's really no need to use an odourless skin cream when you can happily wear Celestial.

Full of Grace Face serum
Calm sensitive skin with our concoction of soothing tropical butters and mushrooms. Our Full of Grace serum bar is made with a concentrated blend of moisturising murumuru and cupuacu butters to hydrate skin, and rose oil to relieve irritations. We’ve also used portobello mushrooms for their plentiful vitamins and antioxidant property. The serum is easily absorbed by the skin, creating a soothing treatment for the face. Massage into the skin before you use a fresh face mask, or whenever you feel your skin needs a little grace.

  3. My sister has got very frizzy and she just bought Fluff-Eaze some days ago, she's used it twice already but she says it doesn't make any difference on her hair, idk, maybe she must used it several times before it starts having an effect on her hair...

    1. My hair is suuuuper dry at the moment, I used it last night (I left it for about 40mins then used curly wurly after it) and my hair is the softest it's been in as long as I can remember! I'd say it really depends on your hair :)
