New in: Moisturiser

Ever since the days started turning colder I've been in a constant battle with my skin and until now my skin has been winning the fight. Recently my skin has been horrendously dry and anything I've done to try and combat the dryness has either done nothing, or made me break out. The thing about dry skin that drives me up the walls is makeup application. You see normally, experimenting with my makeup will cheer me up and excite me no matter what kind of mood I'm in. I just love it.
Aaaaaand this is where I tell you my first world problem. When my skin is dry and my makeup just sits on top or flakes off in areas it makes me feel so self conscious and all I want to do is sit at home and go no where. So of course as I've been dealing with this recently and I have things to do which mean I can't just sit at home all day, I trotted off to the shops to find something that would hopefully fix this.

> Enter Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti Aging Creme.

Estée Lauder has slowly but surely been creeping it's way into my drawers and so far I'm loving every bit of it. This moisturiser though is why we're here right now, and it has been doing everything I was hoping. I've only been using it for 4-5 days so far, and only at night time- but I can already see great results. My skin has stopped flaking off, has- as I hoped- become a little more plump and firm (oh the joys of getting older). The texture is quite thick, although it sinks into the skin quickly and has a very satisfying feeling as it does so, leaving the skin super soft. It has not broken me out in the slightest and I'm very glad I opted for the larger tub. I did use the sample the lovely lady at the counter gave me first just in case I had any issues and decided I didn't like it. The lady also gave me a sample (as pictured) of the advanced night repair eye cream and again, I am loving this. I was actually really impressed and shocked to be honest at the size of the sample she gave me, which was 5mL, as opposed to the full size of 15mL. I have a feeling I'll be getting a decent amount of use out of this and probably purchasing the full size when I'm out.

If you too are struggling with super dry skin and around my age (22/23) I would highly recommend this. I don't know how well it would work with much younger skin but definitely pick up a sample!

Have you tried this product? What did you think of it? Let me know what your dry skin remedies are in the comments section! :)
xx Gaby

  3. I haven't tried any of their cremes, but I guess I should give it a go. I love the 'advanced night repair' serum by the way. Also, how do you like the Alexa Chung's book?
